> The whole night acts under the motto: screw the genres, we’re just here to create a fun-filled, energetic vibe with a sense of humour. That’s where I see Qeone in the future, too! < says Polygonia about the upcoming Qeone & Friends night, an evening with old and new friends, live and DJ sets alike.
Bolivian-born and Brussels-based Susobrino brings live performances that draw from rich Latin American musical traditions and blend acoustic and electronic sounds — a space for both deep listening and euphoric movement. Also hailing from Latin America is Zemög, sharing a common ground in the Deep Techno scene with Polygonia and Qeone, but expect a different - glittering! - angle from the Colombian artist this time around.
Amor Satyr, meanwhile, has been a recent and vital inspiration for Polygonia, with his kinetic approach that plays with hip-hop and pop references across fast paced Baile Funk, Tribe, Drum & Bass and Techno. The interdisciplinary artist Anna Z — who’ll play a live set — covers a wide artistic range: from her love of modular synthesis and coding-based visual art to photography and beyond, while running her own radio show KOMI on Radio 80000 and being a member of the notorious SPANDAU20 family.
Representing Qeone itself are Polygonia and her close companion Tenzia. Built on a fruitful personal and creative friendship, the pair promise the unexpected, as they will play anything but: > Definitely not Techno! <
